You might go into the process of buying a vehicle and believe you understand what the cost will be. In reality, there is always going to be more to add on to the final price, even if the payments do not occur at the dealership. It is important to research any local taxes and fees that will apply to your new vehicle purchase. Some line items to consider will include registration fees, taxes, license plates, and possible emissions inspections. While these will generally be one-time fees or annual registration payments, they will add to the total cost of the vehicle and may impact your budget.
